Finally, the wait is over. Today marks the release of Project W for PC and consoles, the most recent Resident Evil crossover with Dead by Daylight.
Players can now enter the Fog as Albert Wesker, Ada Wong, and Rebecca Chambers, armed with new clothes and a revised map of the Raccoon City Police Department.
Albert Wesker, also known as The Mastermind in the game, is a playable character for those with a killer mindset. To eliminate survivors, Wesker harnesses the Uroboros virus’s strength.
Wesker may advance at breakneck speed while using his power, Virulent Bound, to grasp everyone who gets in his way and infect them with Uroboros. Players that contract the virus have reduced mobility and are more easier to pick up.
Players have the choices of Rebecca Chambers or Ada Wong for the Survivors. Ada can be a useful ally in the battle because to her survival abilities… as long as everyone’s objectives stay consistent. When a colleague is in trouble, Rebecca Chambers will go to tremendous measures to help them, sometimes even at the risk of her own life.
What about those outfits, then? The Project W Collection’s Legendary Sets allow players to assume the roles of Carlos Olivera, Sheva Alomar, and Hunk as well. Sheva Alomar, Hunk, and Carlos Olivera are all available as Legendary Sets for Leon S. Kennedy, Jill Valentine, and The Legion, respectively. Hunk is also a Legendary Set for The Legion.
If that’s not enough, Project W also includes seven new Very Rare Outfits. Players can dress up as Felix Richter in the S.T.A.R.S. Uniform Outfit, Ada Wong in the Undercover Espionage Outfit, Albert Wesker in the Albert Wesker S.T.A.R.S. Outfit, , Jill Valentine in the S.T.A.R.S. Outfit, Leon S. Kennedy in the Detective Noir Outfit, Rebecca Chambers in the Cowgirl Outfit, and Feng Min in the Jill Cosplay Outfit.
Dead by Daylight’s Resident Evil Project W Chapter is currently accessible on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch.
